A few things are grating on me now I've moved back...

Like my dad tidies obsessively and does it when everyone else is relaxing and huffs and puff making a big point about how we’re watching tv and he’s cleaning. It’s like please no one cares just sit down! Also when he cleans he moves...

Yeah seriously. Well she replaced the I in her baby’s name with a Y so I’m not expecting her to listen to reason.
Omg one of the chav girls on my facebook said she’s gonna get her 3 month old a tortoise. I’ve really politely tried to tell her what a bad idea that is.

Now charity shopping and 'ugly' knitted jumpers...
My knitting snobbiness comes into play. I see so many hipster girls walking around jumper shopping sporting their stupid top knots wearing t-shirts with cats on etc.
I hate seeing them around in charity shops/vintage fairs but one thing that cheers me up is when they buy some truly bad and overpriced knitwear.
At a vintage fair a couple of months ago I got a 100% pure new wool jumper for £10....

I really like the fact that the White Stripes have a song called “We are going to be friends” and the Dandy Warhols have a song called “We used to be friends”.
Both songs remind me of past/present friendships.
I really like the fact that someone mentioned The Dandy Warhols and the White Stripes in the same post as these are my two favourite bands!
catprintjumpsuit asked: one of the "one pancake" recipes i found instructed you to use 1/8 of an egg. i am not kidding. 1/8 OF AN EGG. but, the delia smith recipe i found uses two eggs to make 12 pancakes so i'm just going to half that recipe, hope for the best, and save what i don't eat for breakfast or a midnight snack. i never imagined that pancake day could bring such trauma, hahaha.
